NAWZAJEM & MUTUAMENTE

Nawzajem & Mutuamente is a space where we meet regularly, yet always around a slightly different theme. Our club and language tandems are not so much about learning a language as about inspiring one another through topics that intrigue us: from the meaning of colours, through nature documentaries, to choreographic routines inspired by old music videos.

What connects us is precisely our diversity, which gives us energy and strength. Guiding us through this diversity are Grzesiek Franaszek, Maciek Różański, Reymar Reyes Moncayo, Aleksandra Gadek and Alla Shvets, co-creators and facilitators of the gatherings. Our meetings celebrate the discovery, within and beyond language, of things that may not be grand, but are meaningful and necessary in a given moment, and therefore important.

The celebration of shared moments strengthens us mutually, allowing our voices to resonate, including those that care for the well-being of the community. Nawzajem & Mutuamente also provides a space for reflection for people working with groups, enriching processes of mutual learning and exchange.

Our club is accompanied by the sound programme “Sonic Space of One’s Own”, created by Damián Granda Martinto. It is a mobile sound laboratory that engages in dialogue with our events, capturing the frequencies of neighbourhood community life. The programme also includes a recurring drawing workshop led by Katerine Salazar Villamir, introducing participants to aspects of northern Colombian culture.

As part of the Nawzajem & Mutuamente framework, we have also prepared a series of special events:

  • “The Table of Many Voices” – gatherings dedicated to the culinary cultures of the Słupsk region and Apulia. Co-created with the Diritti a Sud Association
  • “Many Voices” – a multicultural reading circle centred on One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez (in cooperation with the Municipal Public Library in Słupsk)
  • “Picnic & Tandems & World Cup” – an event exploring the role of sport in culture through drawing, sound and movement
  • “Picnic & Kite Workshops & Sonic Space” – an event combined with conversations about kite-flying traditions in South America and sound-based activities
  • “Well-being. A Celebration” – a multi-day retreat for people working with groups and communities. Co-created by Pamela Bożek, Dobrawa Borkała and the Food Think Tank collective
  • “Off Duty” – a coffee workshop with Milena Bonilla
