As part of the NAWZAJEM project, we have been gathering around sound for some time now. We talk, listen, make recordings, and produce podcasts. Sometimes a microphone accompanies us – not to document everything, but to map what unfolds between us: conversations, memories, voices, and sounds that shape our shared experience.
On 18 July, we will return to the experiences from the drumming workshops (especially with those who took part in them), but everyone is welcome to join. Our starting point will be a simple question: what do sound and music mean to us? What memories do they evoke? How do they influence our relationships, our sense of place, and our experience of being together?
We will meet on the top floor of the Tower. Around a shared table, we will talk, hum, share stories, and listen to one another. This gathering is part of the ongoing Sonic Space of One’s Own series – a continuation of sonic and social practices in which sound becomes a tool for building relationships, attentive listening, and collective creation.
The event is part of the NAWZAJEM project, co-funded by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage through the National Centre for Culture’s SYNERGIE programme, 2026 edition.
