Tytułowy dobrostan to coś więcej niż odpoczynek: to poczucie sensu, podmiotowości, możliwość ciągłego uczenia się i wymiany. To zdolność rozpoznawania własnych potrzeb oraz ich komunikowania.

Do you work with children, young people, or adults? Are you active in education, community-building, culture, therapy, or social work? Do you lead workshops, classes, or group sessions? Or perhaps you feel that your everyday practice rarely offers you time to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself?
“State of Care” is a seaside retreat designed for those who support others—those who teach, accompany, mentor, and inspire. BGSW will become a space to slow down, listen inward, and replenish.
“We will reflect on what care truly means—in educational practice, in community engagement, and in daily life. Together we will explore new perspectives and ways of caring—not only for others, but also for ourselves,” says curator and BGSW educator Małgorzata Różańska. The programme brings together workshops, artistic processes, conversations, and facilitated sessions led by artists, educators, mentors, and activists who work with diverse communities and engage deeply with questions of care, relationships, and inclusivity. Contributors include Aleka Polis, Jaśmina Wójcik, Anna Owsiany, Magdalena Starska with special guest Wiktoria Bukowy.
