A group exhibition of artists associated in an artistic group functioning in Schwabach, Germany, the partner town of Słupsk

The exhibition includes the following artists:
Axel Gercke, Gudrun Gerstner, Hans Vitus Gerstner, Barbara Graber, Lydia Hasselt, Wolfgang Harms, Clemens Heinl, Edith Herbstleb, Prof. Hans Herpich, Helmut Höhenberger, Manfred Hürlimann, Ursula Jüngst, Jochen Lebert, Karla Leonhardt Norbert Mager, Mathias Otto, Walter Thaler, Jürgen Weiß, and Uwe Schein

Since its coming into being in 1948 the Schwabach Artist Association has been a significant artists’ group in the region of Franken, Germany. The associations joins together active artists and sponsors and administers the Town Gallery Schwabach. Around twelve exhibitions are organised each year. Two from amongst them are always devoted to the members of the association. Solo exhibitions have been organised also for particular members of the association one by one. The exhibition programme focuses on creating a forum aimed at the exchange of views and expressions also for younger artists. Every two years since 2006 a selected young artist has had a possibility to present his/her works at a biennial exhibition Ortung. Apart from managing the gallery, the association works also on the exchange of experiences between artists and other persons interested in art.
