Wojciech Łazarczyk exhibition is a multi media installation prepared especially for the Witches Tower gallery. His works, made in the techniques of video, audio, photography and drawing, refer to the landscape motives of Siberia, Mongolia, and the Isles of Lofoten.
Since 2003 Wojciech Łazarczyk has run his painting studio at the Artistic University in Poznan. He doesn’t give titles to his works. Usually they are large format canvases of square or elongated rectangle form. They can be identified by means of description. Without any indications from the part of the author, we are given free rein in their interpretation. The artist is not suggesting anything, encouraging us to travel through the unlimited sphere of imagination.
In his newest works Łazarczyk has widened his means of expression, complementing his painting on canvas with sounds and ‘natural’ landscapes presented in video frames.
