The exhibition Incurable Art of the Outskirts presents the newest achievements of a group of artists from Koszalin and Darłowo clustered around the Scena Gallery which has been active in Koszalin since 2006. The presentation, prepared by Ryszard Ziarkiewicz and Andrzej Ciesielski is surprising for two reasons: firstly, it shows the original and modern output of artists unknown to the wider audience outside Koszalin, and secondly, it shows their active continuation of avant-garde traditions. The outstanding avant-garde experiments at plein-air workshops in Osieki near Koszalin (1963-1981) have gone down in Polish art history of the 20th century.
