The exhibition “Off-line, off-road” speaks about the condition of today’s people who are constantly communication-dependent, Off-line, Off-road is a mythical space, about which the inhabitants of contemporary big cities dream at moments of metaphysical raptures; it’s a dream about a lonely travel to the world’s end or about the return to the bosom of nature. The artist doesn’t content herself with dreams; she goes into the woods far away from urban civilisation, travelling through the wilderness in order to experience the sorrow of an answered prayer, and to recognise the limit of the fulfilled utopia.
