A group exhibition of the “Schwabach Artists’ Association” art group members; the Association works in the town of Schwabach (Germany), a partner town of Gdańsk.

Exhibited artists: Heinrich Mangold, Rosalinde Weber, André Debus, Walter Thaler, Uwe Schein, Manfred Hürlimann, Jo Niklaus, Hans Peter Widrig, Peter König, Hans Vitus Gerstner, Helmut Höhenberger, Clemens Heinl, Axel Gercke, Susanne Stiegeler, Kasia Prusik-Lutz, Olaf Prusik-Lutz.

“Schwabach Artists’ Association” was established in 1948 and is currently an influential art group in the region of Franconia. The group members are active artists and sponsors. The town of Schwabach entrusted the City Gallery of Schwabach to the Association for their purposes. Yearly, the Association organises around twelve exhibitions in the Gallery. Two of the exhibitions are devoted to the members of the Association. In turn, each Association member has an individual exhibition organised. The emphasis is placed in the exhibition programme preparation on creating an environment for discussion and expression also of the younger artists. Besides the Gallery management, the Association creates opportunities for exchanging experiences of the artists and art enthusiasts. The Słupsk exhibition presents the works by painters, graphic artists, sculptors and artists working in installation.
