Grzegorz Bożek was born in 1988 in Owczarnia in the region surrounding the city of Lublin. His artistic pursuits include painting and poetry. He has staged numerous exhibitions and performances/ audio performances: The electromagnetic Field of View, Warsaw 2020; Freedom. Babylon. Love. Up to 90 minutes to the End of the Universe, BWA Bydgoszcz 2018; Local Remarks on Neurosis and Balance, Łęctwo Gallery, Poznań 2018; On Frost, Shoe Soles and Heart Failure, Pies Andaluzyjski, Poznań 2017;  Hail of June 21, 2016 in the Irshava region and other events, Hotel Intuyst-Zakarpatya, Uzhorod 2016; Radio play Zero Vocative O !, Radio Afera / ul. Podgórna 8, Poznań, 2015.

In 2009-15 he studied Painting at the University of Arts in Poznań. He made his artostic debut with with the Japanese photographer Nanae Tsuchima in 2011 at the Post Office Gallery in Poznań, where he presented  his original material at the exhibition series Me in the Centre of Cognition. He visited the Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art during the Night of Culture in 2016, where he teamed up with Petro Ryaska to present “Peripheral Practices”.

Since 2019, he has been making audio recordings of cultural events under the name Field Recordings. Since September, he has been working at the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Słupsk. He is also associated with BWA Drewniana in Świdnik and Galeria Łęctwo in Poznań, where he has presented one of his latest exhibitions.
